The Nagasawa family trip to Italy and France: June 12 - 30, 2008
(the links are the days in purple; click on them to see pictures)
June 28, 2008:
We revisited this nice boulangerie in St. Laurent (which is said to be the best and freshest) to get some breakfast and a nice cake. We were headed over to Andre and Nicole's for a paella lunch.
Here's a main street in the small town of St. Laurent.
And a road into Claira, the small town where Richard's parents live. The French countryside is filled with vineyards like this that stretch on and on.
Mama Nicole and her incredible paella!!!
Baby Lucas, pretending that he's holding a phone. He can say, "Hello?"
The following day, we drove to Marseilles, ate bouillabaise and mussels, and played Chinese checkers until we fell asleep. Then on the following day, we went to the airport. We had a long stopover in Frankfurt, Germany, where our friends Eddy and Laura Dueck met us at the airport and hung out with us for a few hours; that was another treat! Then, it was the long flight to Washington DC and a connector to Boston, and we were home.
