We took the kids to see and hike Zion National
Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Antelope Canyons, Grand Canyon,
Yosemite, and Monterey Bay. Then we attended a 25 year reunion of Mako's
Christian fellowship friends in Monterey.

July 4: Monterey Bay (whale watching)
We drove through Joshua Tree National Park
Joshua Tree is filled with very curious
rock formations, making for rock climbing.

Then we went to Huntington Beach, CA to
see my dad
During our long car rides, we listened to
C.S. Lewis' Narnia series, and J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter
series. It was so fun!
