The Nagasawa Family Photos June - July 2019
We took the kids to see and hike Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Antelope Canyons, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Monterey Bay. Then we attended a 25 year reunion of Mako's Christian fellowship friends in Monterey.

We flew out from Boston to Las Vegas, rented an SUV, and drove through AZ to UT, and into Zion National Park!
These canyon walls are spectacular.
Deer roamed the lodge lawn.
On June 18th, we woke up to hike around the river, to Weeping Rock.
Weeping Rock is so named because the rock is porous, and traps water, gradually releasing it in relatively slow drips.
See the face in the rock?
This is the closest we got to The Narrows, because the water level in the river was high.
Temple Sinawava is named that because this area was revered as holy by native people.
In the afternoon, we hiked the Watchman's Trail.
The switchbacks were decently steep at times. I made the mistake of trying to keep up with my kids on the way down. I woke up the next day with a very sore left knee.
These are the lower Emerald Pools.
